Timpson Missionary Baptist Church was started in 1950 with a vision to reach her community and be actively involved in helping spread the gospel across the world. Today, our mission remains the same. We seek to be a beacon of light in a dark world. We want to be a voice of hope among hopeless people. We want to be a place of encouragement in a world filled with discouragement. We want to be a pillar of truth in a culture of confusion. How can we do that? We prioritize preaching and teaching. We emphasize worship and fellowship together.
Our Pastor, Levi Cohorst, has been serving in this position for 10 years. He is a graduate of Louisianna Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary in Minden, La. He is married to Melody Cohorst and they are blessed with three beautiful daughters.
